Patchwork Farm is located in Karridale, Western Australia, in the gorgeous Margaret River Region and produces premium vegetables for the local South West and Perth Markets. Run by owner/operator Joanna Wren who has a lifetime of experience in vegetable production and a real passion for her industry, Jo produces a variety of vegetables of wonderful freshness and taste with a real focus on using sustainable agriculture techniques to ensure she takes care of the land and soil that produces for her.
Growing vegetables takes a lot of heart, humour and hardwork and there is always something happening at the Patch. It also means working with the seasons so Spring time sees new season planting begin, followed by a Summer harvest which sees the Patch become a hive of activity as tomatoes, capsicums, chillies, beans, squash, cucumbers and the rest of the summer range vegetables are picked, packed and distributed throughout the region. Summer and Autumn are not only home to the harvest but the winter vegetables also need to be planted so that come June, July and August the broccoli, cabbage and cauliflowers are ready for all those winter-warming recipes!
Jo supplies retailers, wholesalers, restaurants and cafes throughout the Margaret River region and you will also be able to find her weekly at the Margaret River Farmers' Market from February 2016.
